Access and browsing

The access gate does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, financial information, or policy information. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser, device, and network signals needed to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare may place necessary, short-lived security cookies—including its __cf_bm bot-management cookie—before the gate is completed. To limit repeated gate attempts, our server stores a keyed, one-way digest derived from the network address supplied by Cloudflare in minute-bucket counters. The raw address is not stored in the marketplace database. These pseudonymous counters, and the request-limit counters derived from the random access-session identifier, are eligible for pruning after about 60 minutes and are removed during later marketplace activity. After a successful check, the marketplace places a short-lived, anonymous access cookie in your browser. A one-way hash of its random session identifier is used to enforce request limits and protect the upstream policy feed.

Our hosting and security providers may also process standard request and diagnostic information, such as network address, browser details, timestamps, requested pages, and error events, to deliver and secure the site.

Policy data

The marketplace displays a restricted set of case-level fields supplied by Life Policy Market. The public interface is designed not to display policy-owner or insured names, birth dates, medical information, contact details, banking information, tax information, or underwriting documents.

If you book a meeting

Booking is optional and occurs on Calendly. Calendly collects the contact and scheduling information you choose to submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, appointment time, and scheduling responses. Life Equity receives that information and synchronizes contact, scheduling, and validated public case references to Airtable for the follow-up you requested. Relevant information may be shared with Life Policy Market or other authorized transaction participants when needed to prepare for that requested conversation.

Do not enter medical or health information, policy-owner or insured information, Social Security numbers, bank details, tax records, underwriting materials, or other sensitive information in the marketplace or scheduling answers.

How information is used

Life Equity uses marketplace information to deliver and secure the site, prevent abuse, maintain the anonymous access session, respond to requested meetings, coordinate follow-up, troubleshoot errors, comply with applicable obligations, and protect the rights and safety of visitors, Life Equity, and its service providers. Life Equity does not use marketplace information for automated eligibility, suitability, underwriting, or transaction decisions.

Service providers and disclosures

The marketplace relies on Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites for security and hosting, Life Policy Market for listing data, and Calendly and Airtable for requested scheduling and follow-up. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Relevant scheduling information may be disclosed to Life Policy Market or another authorized participant when needed to prepare for the conversation you requested, or when required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.

Life Equity uses marketplace information for the operating, security, scheduling, follow-up, and legal purposes described here. Life Equity does not use marketplace information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The marketplace does not change its behavior in response to a browser “Do Not Track” setting because it does not use browsing information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If applicable law requires a response to a recognized universal opt-out signal, Life Equity will honor that requirement. Hosting, security, scheduling, and data providers may process information over time and across the services they operate under their own notices.

Retention and security

Cloudflare’s bot-management cookie ordinarily expires after about 30 minutes of inactivity. The marketplace access and rate-limit records are eligible for deletion after about 60 minutes. Scheduling, application, Airtable, and correspondence records are kept while Life Equity responds to the request and coordinates the requested relationship, and afterward only while reasonably needed for documented business, security, dispute, legal, tax, or compliance purposes. Those records are reviewed periodically and deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to provider controls and legal holds. Life Equity uses administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the marketplace, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may leave without completing the access check, browse without scheduling, decline optional scheduling fields, and contact Life Equity about a scheduling record. Where applicable law provides access, correction, deletion, appeal, or similar rights, Life Equity will evaluate a verified request and respond as required by that law. Information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

Children and changes

This marketplace is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Life Equity does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Scheduling a conversation or taking steps toward a transaction is limited to adults who can legally enter an agreement. Life Equity may update this policy as the marketplace, providers, or legal requirements change. Life Equity will post the updated policy and effective date here and provide additional notice before a materially expanded collection, use, or disclosure takes effect where applicable law requires it.
