Terms & conditions
These terms govern access to and use of The Life Equity Group’s public educational policy marketplace.
Agreement and eligibility
By using the marketplace, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Marketplace Disclosures. If you do not agree, do not use the marketplace. Scheduling a conversation or taking steps toward a transaction is limited to adults who can legally enter an agreement.
Educational use only
The marketplace provides general educational information about separate whole-policy life settlement cases. It is not an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, a valuation, or personalized investment, tax, legal, insurance, or life-settlement advice. Life Equity is not acting here as a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or licensed life-settlement broker.
No online reservation or transaction
Browsing, selecting, comparing, adding a case to the Portfolio Builder, or booking a meeting does not hold, reserve, purchase, fund, transfer, or create an interest in a policy. Life Policy Market and its authorized parties determine eligibility, confirm availability, provide transaction disclosures, conduct due diligence, and document any reservation or transfer.
Listings and estimates
Listings, availability, and scenario estimates are supplied by Life Policy Market and may change, contain errors, or become unavailable. Life Equity has not independently verified LPM’s calculation methodology or all assumptions, premiums, fees, costs, and policy information. Illustrative estimated ROI is not guaranteed and is not annualized unless LPM expressly states otherwise.
Acceptable use
You may use the marketplace for lawful personal or professional education. You may not bypass or interfere with the access gate or security controls; use bots, scraping tools, or automated extraction; overload or probe the service; introduce malicious code; misrepresent your identity or authority; identify, re-identify, locate, or contact any insured or policy owner; combine case data with outside datasets for those purposes; copy or republish listings as your own; or use the marketplace in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Intellectual property
The marketplace design, text, graphics, software, and Life Equity names and marks are owned by or licensed to Life Equity and are protected by applicable law. Listing data and Life Policy Market materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms provide a limited, revocable right to use the marketplace as described here and do not transfer ownership.
Third-party services
The marketplace uses or links to services operated by Life Policy Market, Cloudflare, OpenAI Sites, Calendly, Airtable, and others. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Life Equity is not responsible for a third party’s systems, availability, content, or decisions.
Jurisdiction and availability
The marketplace is offered from Florida for general educational use. Life-settlement laws, eligibility requirements, and permitted roles vary by jurisdiction. A listing is not a statement that a transaction is available or lawful for any particular person or location. Authorized parties must confirm jurisdiction-specific requirements before any transaction step.
Availability and changes
Life Equity may correct, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the marketplace, and may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the marketplace is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, investment outcome, or transaction result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Equity will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from marketplace use. These terms do not limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
